Apple Crisp

Fast and easy in the microwave
4 cups

1/4 cup

2 tablespoons

tart apples

sugar

lemon juice

Apple Crisp
Topping:
1 cup

1/2 cup

1/2 cup

1/2 lb

1/4 teaspoon

oatmeal, uncooked

flour

brown sugar (or white)

butter or margarine

nutmeg (optional)

  1. Pare, core and slice apples into a 9" pie pan or dish.
  2. Sprinkle with sugar and lemon juice.
  3. Work oatmeal, flour, sugar and nutmeg with fingers or pastry blender and spread over the apples.
  4. Cover top with thin slices of butter.
  5. Bake in microwave oven 12-16 minutes.
  6. Serves six.
