brown sugar (or white)
butter or margarine
nutmeg (optional)

- Pare, core and slice apples into a 9" pie pan or dish.
- Sprinkle with sugar and lemon juice.
- Work oatmeal, flour, sugar and nutmeg with fingers or pastry blender and spread over the apples.
- Cover top with thin slices of butter.
- Bake in microwave oven 12-16 minutes.
- Serves six.
